Hugo Burge, is a leading entrepreneur in UK internet Media. He is Vice-Chairman of Cheapflights, where he joined in March 2000 as an investor and co-manager. Cheapflights has grown from 3 people in March 2000, with sales of 400k in the prior year, to a team of 100 and sales of 25m in the current financial year. In May 2003 Hugo Founded Cheapflights.com in the US market, with an office in Boston. Now of similar scale to the UK business and growing at over 100% a year, this is a rare British transatlantic success story. Cheapflights was the first online travel site to introduce travel blog-sites for news with the ability for users to comment, vote and feedback on stories.

In January 2007 Hugo co-founded HOWZAT media LLP, an investment vehicle for early stage internet media companies. He is a Non-Exec at Social Networking site TrustedPlaces.com (Local reviews), Zoomf.com (Property Search) and on the Panel of Advisors for WAYN (Travel Social networking). In May 2007, Hugo Founded 'here or there?' a travel community for sharing travel inspiration.
